07 Apr 11. Leaving the house this evening at the start of the hail/snow/rain display, I looked down and noticed that a fair amount of water was beading up on the petals of a pansy plant we have yet to put in the ground. I grabbed the camera and fired off a couple/three shots of which this is my favorite. As there was lots of garbage in the photo such as cardboard box, stairs, etc, I severely cropped it and then added a bit of contrast with a curves layer followed by some slight manipulation using a plug-in filter to give it just a bit more zing. It was truly a grab shot, but I liked the way the water droplets were displaying enough to share. Jan thought I should manipulate it and put my reflection in one of the drops. ISO 400; 1/60 sec with fill flash @ f / 14.
