05 Aug 11. Awakening Thursday to the sound of fog horns and a view of very low lying clouds, I took my time driving to the house electing to err on the side of safety vice expediency. I was amply rewarded for by the time I had crested the hill from Hansville beach the fog had thinned just enough to render the countryside into a dream-like state that simply called out for recording, so record it I did. It took a moment to register, so I had to turn around and go back to get the best possible composition, and this is what caused me to pause and smell the newly cut grass (hay). This image is suggestive of the oft repeated statement that all atmospheric conditions are suitable for good photography. To which I'll add a comment of my own; never better then in fog! ISO 200; 1/250 sec @ f / 9.
